Amanda and Andrew Hall were married at Midway Presbyterian Church in July of 2010, but their ties to Midway extend a bit further back. Amanda and her parents (Greg and Alicia Bartlett) began attending Midway when she was three years old, and Andrew was shipped down in a U-Haul when his father was called to serve as Midway’s senior pastor in 2003. The two met through Midway’s Youth Group, and despite the best efforts of the youth pastor began dating in 10th grade.
Andrew attended the University of Georgia — no matter what his professors might say. He is a financial advisor and the Vice President of Narwhal Capital Management in Marietta. Amanda attended Carson-Newman College on a tennis scholarship. She is still actively involved in the local tennis community.
The two welcomed their first child, Hayden, in March of 2015. Hayden enjoys dancing, fishing and eating breakfast foods. When she’s in the nursery, she really enjoys snack time and the frequent diaper changes.
Amanda and Andrew attend the Fellowship Sunday School Class, where Andrew is in the teaching rotation. Amanda also attends the Weekly Tuesday Bible Study. They both enjoy serving with the Special Care Ministry.
In their spare time, the Halls enjoy college football, reading and Mexican food. Andrew and Amanda are grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness which he has shown through Midway and the Scriptural teaching of its pastors and other teachers. Additionally, they are appreciative of the fellowship offered across many generations of believers at Midway. They credit this teaching and fellowship for their ongoing spiritual development from high school into their marriage and now parenthood.
“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” – Psalm: 145:13
