Senior Pastor – Rev. David Hall
Reverend David W. Hall is married to Ann, and they are parents of three grown children and three grandchildren. He has served as the Senior Pastor of Midway Presbyterian Church (PCA) since 2003. Previously, he served as Pastor of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge, Tennessee (1984-2003) and as Associate Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Rome, Georgia (1980-1984).
Pastor Hall’s undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis (B. A., 1975) was in philosophy. After completion of his undergraduate studies, Pastor Hall studied at Swiss L’Abri and then enrolled at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating in 1980. He later earned a Ph.D. in Christian Intellectual Thought from Whitefield Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1980.
In addition to pastoring, David Hall is the author or editor of over 20 books and numerous essays. He was also the Founder and Senior Fellow of the Kuyper Institute in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In addition to his commentaries and Kuyper Institute Briefings, his works include: The Genevan Reformation and the American Founding; Savior or Servant? Putting Government in Its Place; Election Day Sermons; The Arrogance of the Modern: Historical Theology Held in Contempt; Holding Fast to Creation; Paradigms in Polity; The Millennium of Jesus Christ: An Exposition of The Revelation for All Ages, Welfare Reformed: A Compassionate Approach and A Heart Promptly Offered: The Revolutionary Leadership of John Calvin. In addition to his work as Executive Director of Calvin500 (Geneva, 2009), his Calvin500 series contains the following works: The Legacy of John Calvin, Calvin in the Public Square, Calvin and Commerce, Preaching Like Calvin, Calvin and Culture, Tributes to John Calvin, and Theological Guide to Calvin’s Institutes.
Assistant Pastor for Teaching, Discipleship & Congregational Care –
Rev. Marc Harrington
Reverend Marc Harrington is our Asst. Pastor for Teaching, Discipleship & Congregational Care. He has served as Assistant Pastor at Midway PCA in Powder Springs, Georgia, since 2008.Previous to his time here at Midway, he was an Associate Pastor at Golden Isles Presbyterian Church on St. Simons Island on the Georgia coast from 2005 – 2007. From 2002 to 2005, Rev. Harrington served at Kirk O’ the Isles Presbyterian in Savannah, Georgia as an Assistant Pastor. His internship was in 2001 at Independent Presbyterian in Savannah, Georgia.
Pastor Harrington received his undergraduate degree in history (B.A., 1994) from Georgia Southern University. He studied at Reformed Theological Seminary, receiving his Master of Divinity degree in 1999. Pastor Harrington received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2016. Marc and his wife Kate have two daughters.
Assistant Pastor – Rev. David Barry
Reverend David Barry has served as an Asst. Pastor at Midway since June 2017. He leads the Young Adults ministry as well as overseeing the Youth Ministry. Prior to his call to Midway, he ministered in several PCA churches in youth ministry. He and his wife, Katie, were married in June 2014.
Assistant Pastor for Assimilation and Outreach – Rev. Mic Knox
Reverend Mic Knox is married to Adrianne and they have three children. Mic was born and raised in West Cobb County, Georgia. He graduated from Harrison High School and received a scholarship to play baseball at the Universities of South Carolina and Georgia State. He earned an undergraduate degree in Business from Georgia State University and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. He previously worked in the business world for nine years before being called into the pastorate. He was first ordained in a Southern Baptist church where he served a local congregation in Acworth, Georgia. He is now ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America and serves as the Assistant Pastor for Assimilation and Outreach. Rev. Knox is also the author of the book Family Matters. Mic loves coaching his kids in baseball and basketball.
Director of Children’s Ministry – Ken Rolston
Ken Rolston currently serves as Director of Children’s Ministry at Midway Prebyterian Church. After a 20 year career in business, Ken followed God’s clear call to pastoral ministry. In addition to his work at Midway, Ken is a student at RTS Atlanta and does freelance business consulting. After he completes his training, Ken plans to seek a call and ordination in the PCA as a local church pastor.
