Sundays at Midway
What is the Worship Service like?
Our service is a traditional, reformed time of worship. We begin with a call to worship from Scripture and conclude with a benediction. We sing hymns and have a pastoral prayer. The sermon lasts about 30 minutes with the whole service lasting about an hour.
For a more detailed guide to our worship, see our Worship 101 page.
What About My Kids?
Nursery We have a warm and well-staffed nursery for newborns to 3-year old children. Care of children four years of age (before September 1 of the year) and older is provided by the Children’s Ministry through their educational programs. For more information, check out the Nursery.
Children Just before the sermon, Children K4-1st grade are dismissed from the worship service to attend Children’s Church for an age-appropriate Bible lesson. During the Sunday school hour, children K4-5th grade gather together for a time of singing, fellowship, and prayer before they are dismissed to their Sunday school classes. For more information, check out Children’s Ministry.
Students Grades 6–12 are invited to worship with their families at 11 AM and to attend the middle school (grades 6–8) or high school (grades 9–12) Sunday School at 9:45. For more information, check out Student Ministry.
What Do I Wear?
