Summer Music Camp - July 14-18, 2025
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Music Camp is back! Plans for Music Camp 2025 are under way. The Music Camp faculty is excited about all we will be doing this year. The camp is for rising 2nd grade through 12th grade students. This camp is open to all musicians and non-musicians. The purpose of this camp is to instill an understanding of the role of music in worship, a love for the hymns and psalms of our faith, and music literacy necessary to be an active participant in the musical elements of worship.
Each day will begin with an assembly opening with prayer, devotion and singing. Following the assembly, the children will be divided into three groups: Descant (K4-1), Melody (2-5), Harmony/Counterpoint (6-12). We will have sessions on Theory and Rhythm, Sight-singing, Handbells, and Choir. We will also examine the history of various hymns.

Midway practices sequential, expository, experiential preaching of God's Word. Each Lord's Day Morning and Evening, the Holy Scriptures are read and preached with intentional application made to our lives today. We believe this is what the Scriptures teach and that it is a means of grace, which the Lord provides for our instruction, correction, strengthening, and encouragement.
