Matt Buehler

Facilities Manager
Matt oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and security of the buildings and grounds for Midway Presbyterian Church and Midway Covenant Christian School.

Michael Dewalt

Outreach Coordinator
Michael is from the Buckeye State. He is married to his better three-fourths, Emily. Together, they have two children, Wyatt and Willow. Michael helps coordinate various events and fills in when and where needed.

Judy Dodd

Music Director
Judith R. Dodd has served as Music Director at Midway Presbyterian Church since 1995. Before that, Judy served as Music Director at Faith Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Austell, Georgia, and Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Mobile, Alabama. Mrs. Dodd holds a Bachelor and Master degree in music from the University of Montevallo in piano performance. She has maintained active membership in the Music Teachers National Association, having held local, state, and regional offices. Mrs. Dodd resides in Powder Springs, Georgia, and has two grown children. Jonathan lives in Marietta, Georgia, with his three sons, Lucas, Logan, and Leander. And Anna Dodd resides in Birmingham, Alabama.

Arie Motschman

Organist
Arie Motschman holds degrees in organ performance from Salem College (BM) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (where she studied with John Mueller) and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (MM). She was awarded a Fulbright Grant for post-graduate study with Gerd Zacher at the Folkwang Musik Hochschule in Essen, Germany. Motschman is in frequent demand as a collaborative pianist and harpsichordist in the Atlanta area, collaborating with music students and professionals for solo and studio recitals, competitions, and auditions. Motschman served for 25 years as an organist/music associate at First United Methodist of Marietta; since 2015 she has been an organist at Midway Presbyterian Church in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Cheryl Hash

Administrative Assistant
Cheryl Hash has served as the Administrative Assistant for the pastoral staff at Midway Presbyterian since 2018. Cheryl manages the daily business and operational tasks of a church. She acts as the primary point of contact for the congregation, handles scheduling, and prepares internal communications. This behind-the-scenes support allows the pastoral staff to focus on ministry and spiritual leadership of Midway.

Jennifer Nichols

Nursery Director
Jennifer Nichols is the wife of John Nichols, mother to Paul, Leslie and Taylor Nichols, and is so pleased to be “Gramma Jen” to their grandchildren; Connor, Paul and Julianne. Jennifer is from Albany, GA and has been serving as our Nursery director since 2002. The Midway Nursery Ministry is a special way to volunteer and serve the Lord by helping with our youngest covenant children.

Jimmy Cooper

Youth Director
Jimmy oversees Midway's youth ministries for grades 6-12. He is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing spiritual and personal programs for middle and high school students at Midway Presbyterian Church. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Auburn University Harbert College of Business (2013). Jimmy also serves as an elder and has been a member of Midway since 2013.

Dr. Matt Ross

Director of Children’s Ministry
Dr. Matthew Ross oversees Midway's children's ministries, K-5. In addition to his work for the church, he serves as the Head of School at Midway Covenant Christian School. He delights in working with students and assisting them as they grow in intelligence, wisdom, and virtue. He believes that a classical Christian education model provides the best way to teach students to be lifelong learners. He has been a member of Midway Presbyterian Church since 2005.

Kyle Lipstreu

Sexton
Kyle is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of Midway's facilities. He ensures the sanctuary, classrooms, offices, and restrooms are sanitized, tidy, and welcoming for congregants, visitors, and staff members.

Meredith Lipstreu

Student Ministry Leader
Meredith helps disciple middle-and high-school teens. She assists our youth director in planning engaging events, teaching age-appropriate Bible studies, and mentoring teenage girls at Midway.
